Blank screen instead of video

I am trying to do a video screen saver and it looks fine on the preview. The file comes up on the list of screens savers but plays as a blank screen. Am I missing something? I thought the software would play any video format ? Thanks.

I just wanted to confirm - if you select Screensaver Factory menu Make -> Preview then the video works, but if you go to Windows Screensaver Settings and preview the installed screensaver from there then it doesn't? Where did you install the screensaver to (what folder)?

I had to convert the file to a wmv to play.
