Implement support for free HTML Validator

Post by pmk65 »

Since CSE Validator is now only available in a trial or paid versions (Previously there was a free Lite version too), it might be an idea to switch/support a free one like TotalValidator.

https://www.totalvalidator.com/

The default version can validate a given page without any limitations.
(To validate a complete site, you need to buy the PRO version.)

*BUMP*

Isn't it a bit lame that the "CSE HTML Validator" button links to this if you don't have "CSE HTML Validator" installed?
http://www.blumentals.net/cse/

The page advertise for a 30% bundle discount when buying "CSE HTML Validator" together with an Web editor.
But if you follow the link, then there is no mention of "CSE HTML Validator" on the "Buy" page.

Apparently you get an offer to buy CSE Validator after you put one of the editors in a basket (by clicking Buy Now).

I'll be honest - personally I have never used, don't own and don't even really know how the integration with CSE Validator works. But apparently this integration was highly requested at some point and there it is now...

I think that everything can be validated for free, without buying any licenses. There are many tools in the Web.
