[RESOLVED] Untitled HTML document

Post by VinnyYak »

I'm a happy user of HTMLPad2015. I will purchase WeBuilder2016.
I'm sorry if my question has been asked. I tried Search, didn't find it. There are more than 40 pages of posts, I stopped finding.

Every time I load HTMLPad2015 it opens a new blank HTML document. I don't need it. So I close it right away everytime. It's annoying to have a blank untitled html doc. It takes up space when I tile my windows. Is there a way to make it not open upon loading?

Hi there VinnyYak - Yes, in Options> Preferences > General there is a 'On Startup' option.

I have it set it 'Do not open anything' - I think you'll want the same.

Thank you. Not only that, I can now suppress the displaying of the splash screen in that same dialog box.
Thanks again.
