I purchased the latest version of webuilder2016 but there is no update for block mode.
[Delete] works for the entire block, but [replace] for the entire block doesn't work.
When will be this improvement?
I would like to code only with webuilder not webuilder2016 + Notepad++.

The column mode hasn't been forgotten, it's just that it turned out to be too difficult for us at the moment. We had to make a choice - add several other features that other people wanted or add just this one for this upgrade and this was the trade-off. It doesn't mean that there will never be a better column mode.
