Rapid CSS 2015 FTP Transfer Modus

There is no Option to choose a transfermode. Only for Filetypes are listed will be with with ASCII transferd.

So what is the transfermode? In FileZilla by example I choosed binaer

The default transfer mode is binary, except for the file extensions that you specify in FTP Options as ASCII extensions.
