SF6 Auto update file format

Hello, I'm making tests with the Auto update.
Which file format is supported ?
Coud I update with a video file for example ?

The auto-update data file format is described here: http://help.blumentals.net/screensaverf ... te_xml.htm
I think it does support video and flash files but not all of their properties (e.g. play all file of play first X seconds only).

When I talked about the file format, it was for the content not for the xml file
I've read the http://help.blumentals.net/screensaverf ... te_xml.htm and with .JPG file it works fine.

I would like to do the same thing but with video file, and for the moment it doesn't work with .MP4 files (without any options).

Could you please help me ?

It's possible that you need to have at least one video file in the initial screensaver. Then go to Options -> Behavior and check "Use FFmpeg video playback" if not checked for better compatibility with mp4 files.

I have a last question.
How it works ? The video is streamed from the web server ?
It could be important if you have a big number of machines connected.

It downloads the video once and stores on the computer in temp folder. So it would only be a problem if there are a high number of machines and they start the screensaver for the first time all at once.
