I am not sure whether anybody would be interested to help with writing documentation. That is not easy, it requires some specific skills and it is totaly boring
If there were some volunteers, probably we could launch a "better help file" project, however this would not be an easy task as creating good documentation requires some decent amount of work to be done.
Another option would be to fix/edit the exiting CSS reference. In that case we would need some CSS experts to go through the files and generate a list of changes to be done.
Anyway I completely understand the concern and as soon as time permits, we'll try to figure out something.
