Today we are releasing a major update to version 2016. As you may have noticed instead of releasing regular small updates we do this in bigger batches. Think of this update as a service pack.
Here is what has been done:
Fixed: Crash in Keyboard Shortcuts form
Fixed: Crash while disconnecting from FTP server if the connection fails catastrophically
Fixed: Scrolling to incorrect <img> after updating image with link via toolbar
Fixed: Draggable menus contained incorrect toolbars
Fixed: Crash when opening invalid document
Fixed: Crash when FTP trying to activate document that isn't open anymore
Improved: Color picker will support multiple monitors
Improved: Selecting image or script from inspector or auto-complete will add file:/// if the selected path is not relative to current document
Fixed: Prevent window.close() in Chromium preview to exit IDE
Improved: High definition support in FTP explorer window folder tree
Improved: High definition support in update notification window
Plugins: New function SaveStringToFile
Plugins: Trying to add image in incorrect size will throw and exception
Roadmap info:
We will continue addressing critical bugs in version 2016, however work has also began on the next major version which is expected to come out either in late 2017 or early 2018. I and Aivars we are maintaining an orderly list of suggestions and issues that need to be addressed, and we shall try to do as much as we can to satisfy the needs of as many of our awesome users as possible.

Thanks for the update.
Ref Roadmap..
will it include a version for Mac / Linux? We only use windows for Webuilder now and intend to stop using Microsoft OS (like many of our customers).

I'm not clear what this update is for (WeBuilder? Rapid PHP?...).
What I'm looking for is when/whether we can expect an update to RapidPHP so that those of us using Ultrabooks (I'm on a Dell Inspiron something or other that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080) can see previews in undistorted form.
What I'm seeing at the site (here) are signs of weariness and that support is flagging. I hope I'm wrong. I'm 71 years old and looking forward to the end of my coding days, but it will be a sad day for anyone using PHP if RapidPHP were no longer available. I've been using it for some 10+ years and admit that I've occasionally checked out other products but nothing else comes close to providing the ease of use that Rapid PHP does for me. On the other hand, if the sun is indeed setting on your efforts, thanks for a fantastic run!
Please do edit this for public scrutiny if it is off the mark.

The forum has always been slower (it's suppsoed to be self-help & opinion exchange) but if you contact support by e-mail you will find that the replies are fast. Or, if you're talking about the releases, our release cycle hasn't changed. We add new stuff in the major releases so that not to annoy customers who are used to things as they are, and we release bug-fixes and sometimes subtle features that don't change the user's workflow as minor releases. High-DPI support has improved with each release and these improvements are expected to continue for the next major version.
The next major version is expected at the end of the year (give or take a few months).
