The new things will be all published in the what's new page once it's released. I can whisper about one of the features - the highly requested black UI mode will be there.

It is by far the most requested feature. There will also be new stuff related to PHP coding, JavaScript coding, CSS coding, FTP, startup speed, functionality speed, etc.

What is the latest about the next major release, need to convince people to use HTMLPad instead of Sublime Text.

We are working hard on the next version and hoping for a beta soon. Currently everything else besides the editors is on hold.
