For years I've been using Arachnophilia for an HTML editor. But I've recently decided to move my website development into the future using web standards and XHTML. HTMLPad became my solution. I enjoy all the extra features.
However there is one feature that seems to be missing that I used much in Arachnophilia - <b>making global changes to multiple files</b>. Let me explain. If I make a link change that effects every page of the website, I would open every page in the editor. Then I would put in the changes into a "Find/Replace" feature and click for global changes. With one click, it would change every page fitting the criteria.
Now I may be missing something, but it seems to me that "global changes" within HTMLPad means the entire page of the active file is changed. It doesn't change every open file with the same criteria. My questions are:
1. Does HTMLPad make global changes to multiple files?
2. If so, what am I missing in my "Find/Replace" features that I've not set?
3. If not, has someone discovered a work-around instead of going to each individual file to make the "global" changes?
Thank you for any help. I do like the editor much.

Well, I'm glad I haven't missed anything. This will be a well-used feature.
