Hi,
I'm working on an existing site for a client. They have all of their doctypes set to HTML 4.01 Transitional. I can't change it but I'd like to be as xhtml compliant as I can as I'm adding code.
Is there any way to get webuilder to ignore the doctype and use xhtml tags where ever possible? Mostly for hr and br closing tags. the convenience of shift+enter is great.
The fact that webuilder even knows what sort of tags to insert based on the doctype totally blows my mind!
Thanks,
Will
Any way to force XHTML insertions when the doctype is html?

15 seconds later I find it.
Just in case some one searches for the same:
Options>Preferences>Language Options>HTML> uncheck 'Use Doctype to switch specification whereever possible'
Can anyone imagine why this might cause me troubles while working in an HTML 4.01 Transitional document? If so, please share!
Thanks,
Will
