I almost bought web builder today but there are two issues, the splash screen and you can't highlight form tags.
I would only be using Web Builder as a source viewer in IE and as a quick editor in my ftp software so I need something that loads fast, perferably without a splash screen. You wouldn't have to eliminate the splash, just give us a way to turn it off.
I hope you change these two things in the very very near future, I will gladly buy.
Thanks
James
No Form tag highlighting? And Dump the splash screen!

Thanks for your suggestions.
If there was an option to turn off the splashscreen, it would not increase the load time, since the time is required for the program to load. You would gain 1/1000th of a second at most.
I am not sure thogh what you mean by "you can't highlight form tags", as the <from> tag is highlighted in the same way as all other HTML tags.

I work with alot of forms in a sea of html. Dreamweaver highlights form tags in orange to you can distinguish forms quicklly and easily.
I realize disabling the splash won't speed up the load time, it's distracting. Sounds petty, but I't's true.
When you add this and a way to disable the splash I'll buy WebBuilder. It's a great little program.

About the splash, I have nothing against Blumentals or anything like that. But usually I'm examining something on a web page and decide to view source. While the view source editor is loading I am still examining the page until the editor loads. But with WebBuilder the splash screen jumps in my face and usually blocks what I was looking at.
It isn't that I am trying to deny you your due, but it's very distracting and half the time blocks exactly what I am trying to concentrate on. It's almost like an irritating advertisement popup.
An almost hidden splash toggle or even a regedit would work for me. That way someone would have to really want to turn it off. And I think they should have that option with any software they purchase. Freeware is a different story.
No editors I've tried require you to look at their splash everytime the app loads. I like WebBuilder the best and could really use it NOW, but I guess I'll stick with Homesite + until we come to a rational agreement.
I hope you can understand my point of view.

right, DW highlights forms orange, and <tables> in teal, <img> in purple, some editors hightlight the <embed> tag in a special color.
As i mentioned in another posting before, i am craving for more syntax coloring options (in the preference for Text Editor colors)! I don't use the code explorer, i don't want another panel open and it takes to much time to find the element i need. I'm searching for tags in my source code with a more "visual" way...
Please, Karlis, think about this feature, the lack of this is the reason i gave HTMLPad not yet the 1+ grade!
