don't do that drjee. To each his own but scrollbars are standard interface elements and screwing with them can be disorienting. maybe that's what yer going for? :)

The code I wish you weren't looking for is:

Code: Select all

scrollbar-base-color:
scrollbar-track-color:
scrollbar-face-color:
scrollbar-highlight-color:
scrollbar-3dlight-color:
scrollbar-darkshadow-color:
scrollbar-shadow-color:
scrollbar-arrow-color:
they are not w3c standards and will only work in Internet Explorer but there they are.

It's obviously up to Karlis but I'd rather webuilder stick to web standards instead of getting clogged up with browser specific codes.

Hi,

thanks, I know this code. I thought of a more visual tool. I also know that it is browser-specific code, but since the majority (still) uses IE and it gives more design possibilities to me I sometimes do skin the scrollbar. it does no harm if the code is there even if other browsers do not support it.

Yes, visual tool is a good idea, I will add this to suggestions, however please note that this is Internet Explorer specific, thus not very useful, because it does not work on many browsers. So this should be duscussed some more, to see whether there is a real demand.

hi Karlis,

will it come? I would appreciate it and IE is still around 80% market share.
