Closing a File

Post by essexgirl »

I have just downloaded Webuilder as as I am looking for a better alternative to Homesite. Thanks - I think this is it!

But how to do you close an open file without having to move to the x at the top right hand corner of the code window? I was hoping to see a Homsite style right click context menu with the option to either close the current file or close all files. Have I missed it somewhere?

As an ex-Homesite user it is a bit confusing at first. The close context menu is available by right-clicking the tab. I've just remapped the keyboard shortcut to Ctrl+F4 which is much quicker.

Thanks - I see - right clicking the tab means you have to move your cursor across the screen. Much better short cut keys.

That said , this is a great program - I can say goodbye to Homesite forever. Yiphee.
