Is there a way to hide 'Code editor', 'Preview', 'Split...' tabs on the bottom of the editor? I dont need it, especially for PHP files. It's not shown for JS files and i want it hidden all the time, cause I'm not using preview feature.
TIA

Hmmm, I cannot agree with you that is not possible
If those tabs are not there for JS file, why should be impossible for PHP file? It's not big problem, just it's not needed there, at least for me and it is distracting me and taking not necessary place.
I am trying to find better editor than EditPlus and I found RapidPHP having many features missing in EditPlus but, still cannot move into it, still it's not simple, fast and 'easy-to-use'. Of course this is very subjective oppinion.

It is not possible in the current version and it is not possible for you. Of course it could be as an additional feature, but I need more votes than yours to give such feature a green light. So if you could create a poll or simply anyone who needs this feature would cast a vote in this topic, we could see whether it would benefit other customers.

From my point of view, those tabs are "additional feature" which should be removed or hidden by default at leastKarlis wrote:Of course it could be as an additional feature,...

BTW, I have one suggestion regarding FTP. Please take a look at EditPlus FTP feature and 'steal' as much as possible from there. I think RapidPHP can be great product if it will be more 'server oriented' which means better (S)FTP support, better integration with remote web servers instead of local .
I don't want to be rude or critic to your comment but let me express myself.
Regards
All modern editors has it. I understand your point anyhow.those tabs are "additional feature" which should be removed or hidden by default
Yes, many of us are using this feature. This is one reason I am with rapid from the first place. Save me money AND time.Do you really think that everyone is using 'preview' feature? Do you think that everyone is developing PHP files on local windows apache server?
This is not marketing research. is a new feature, and the rest of the community has this way to ask and get votes for their NFSs. If you review the forums you will notice this is a standard procedure here.I think it's your job to do marketing research, not mine
I agree with you that better ftp processes will be an improvement for the product. Also there is a poll about that topic. Please submit your vote and your opinion there.FTP
