Basic WeBuilder functions:Hide text, change name files, SFTP

Post by Simon »

Hello,

Today I took a look to WebBuilder after reading a lot of good references about it.

I tried to make 3 basic tasks and I could not, I do not know if it was my ignorance or the program.

These are:

1. To hide some lines of the code. I work with long text and it is useful.
2. To change the name of an image in the file explorer and to see it reflected in the code where it is referred.
3. To upload files using SFTP with SSH2.

Please let me know if they are part of the software, otherwise let me know when they will be.

Sincerely,

Simon

1. This is possible, but it may need switching on. I think its off by default.
From the "Options" menu, select "Code Collapse". Select one or more lines of code, and then click the little [-] in the left hand margin.
Collapsed code can also contain more collapsed code, etc.

The downside to this is that these 'selections' are not saved, so if you save the document and re-open it, you're back to a full document - that can be annoying!

2. No, if you change any filename in the File Explorer, changes are not made to any code.

3. No idea, sorry.

Hi,

2. It is indeed useful when the tool takes care of all the files involved in the project.

3. It is a secure type of FTP. Right now the security is a most for those who work away from the Web server like me.

I really wold like to see this features in a single tool like WeBuilder, let me know the chanses.

Greetings,

Simon
