CSS automatically inserted in file

Post by purplecap »

When I convert a HTML file to XML a code like <li> are inserted througout the file, in this case with lists. I have no idea why. How do I get it stop doing that?

I was not using any CSS tags in the file, either. Just clean HTML.

Thanks,
A.

Whoops. the CSS got stripped out in my note. What I mean
" <li> "
are inserted. I don't want css stiles in the file.

I am not sure what it is or how to turn it off.

Any chance of posting (or emailing me) the file you're trying to convert, and the steps you're doing, so they can be reproduced?

I'll be happy to. The file was overwritten with something else, but the next time it happens I will do that. Could you provide your email address?
