Hi all. I submitted this question (below) to tech support, but I was hoping to have an answer before Monday. Can anyone help me with this FTP problem?

I just purchased and installed WeBuilder 2006. I had been using the trial version and was not having any significant problems. However, after installing the full version, I find I cannot make a connection via FTP to my website. I was not experiencing that problem with the trial.
I am not running a firewall or anti-virus. I can get to the website with another FTP client. I have rebooted. I have uninstalled and re-installed the product. I deleted the FTP entries and created new ones. I have used the quick connection option and the passive FTP option. I do not have another FTP program running when trying to connect with WeBuilder. Nothing has made a difference.
The error I am getting is FTP Error: Address resolution error. It is being generated by WeBuilder. There is nothing in the event log that pertains to this error No events are being recorded at the time of the error.

Not had any FTP problems here, so its unlikely to be in the program.
I presume your putting the host in as domain.com, and not ftp://domain.com, or http://domain.com. Sorry to be patronising - it sounds like you know what you're doing.
Is it a standard domain? Have you another FTP account you could try? I can't do it now as I'm just going out, but I can set up an FTP account for you on my system - if that works, then we know WeBuilder works, and it must be something weird with that FTP account.
Do you know what system you're connecting to - Linux, Windows, etc?

New User - FTP error
Yes, I did try the IP as well. No luck.
I just downloaded and installed the trial version on another PC in the house, and it connects via FTP perfectly, just like the trial version on PC #1 did. It's odd. I don't know what the difference in the purchased version vs the trial version is, but the problem seems to lie there.

Whats the format of the username you're using? Is it simply username, or username@domain.com, or username+domain.com, etc.
Can you try logging into my account? I'm using WeBuilder 2006, and it works here.
