Post by Karlis »

Version 7.3 includes mostly fixes, but some new features too. Update is recommended, but not critical.

+ Added: New color palette layout Web Palette 2
+ Added: Support for \n in the regular expressions
+ Added: Find in Files, Find All display some context around
+ Added: Duplicate a line (Ctrl+D) - if you are updating, you will have to set this shortcut manually via tools menu
+ Added: XHTML to HTML extensions
+ Fixed: Problem with FTP truncating files on some rare FTP servers
+ Fixed: Typo in code library Fedback Form to Feedback Form
+ Fixed: Nasty Clipboard lag (since we were unable to reproduce, we were also unable to test, so those who encountered this problem, please test this end send your feedback)
+ Fixed: When in "Multi Line" search/replace mode, pressing Esc does not close the search box
+ Fixed: The inspector now displays classes also if the 'stylesheet' param in the link tag is in mixed/upper case
+ Fixed: Removed duplicate XHTML 1.0 doctype item
+ Fixed: Behavior when markup pane always switches to HTML 4.01 for PHP and ASP files
+ Fixed: PHP hint no more closes on single-quote press
+ Fixed: Custom user-defined browser can now be set as default preview browser
+ Fixed: Toolbar search box now works when Find dialog in multi line mode
+ Fixed: bug with syntax coloring being reset: http://forums.blumentals.net/viewtopic.php?t=1320
+ Fixed: Project explorer in list view mode does not switch correctly
+ Fixed: Project explorer in tree view mode sometimes does not switch correctly
+ Fixed: Bug with find in Files not working with Unix and Mac text file formats
+ Fixed: Occasional text editor "access violation" bug
+ Fixed: CSS validator bug (in rare cases)

Please note that this version does not include all of your suggestions and requests, many of them are still in the queue and most will be implemented in the future versions.

Hi Karlis,

Thanks for the update....

One thing I've been meaning to let you know....

A small annoyance in the installer:
When it gets to the 'local web server root directory', it default to "c:\htdocs" & I have to change it everytime.
I thought it would look where the previous version was set to and default it to that.

cheers, Dave Porter

:D

I'm so very lazy about capitalization. It really is horrible. Karlis, thank you for the release. Bugs come and go but capitalization and thank yous should not.
