XHTML markup

Post by Graham »

Karlis, I first raised this issue in February under another item but it seems to have gone dead.
Working in php with DOCTYPE set to XHTML the markup pane keeps reverting to HTML 4.01 regardless of my options settings.
Entry of tags from keyboard shortcut, context menu or markup pane are html 4.01 causing repeated validation errors, eg,
shift enter puts in <br> not <br />, etc.
Any progress please?

Have you tried the latest version. I think this is corrected now, but I may be wrong. If so, I will need click-by-click instructions right from the program start to reproduce the problem, so twe can finally get this done.

Hi Karlis
I have upgraded to v7.3 and it appears to be working correctly now.
Many thanks.
