Passive (PASV) mode for FTP

Post by lolo2000 »

Is there any option to use Passive (PASV) mode when connecting using the FTP feature on webuilder 2006

My host only allows connections to the server on that mode.

TIA

Don't think so. Not sure what mode it does use, but whatever it is, it can't be changed...

It can't use an FTP proxy, so I can't use it at work either.

There is passive mode. In the FTP window, click Options and there you have a choice to enable passive mode.

Aah, in File -> Save to FTP... (or Open from FTP...) - I was looking in the FTP pane of the File Explorer...
