disable auto-refresh in file explorer?

Post by roycarl »

Is there a way to disable the auto-refresh feature in WeBuilder's file explorer? in "tree" view, the tree refocuses itself on the currently selected file or folder with each and every refresh, which is REALLY irritating when i'm scrolling through a long list trying to find a file that's "offscreen".

The refresh should only happen if there are changes to the filesystem, but not all the time, because the refresh is called only when Windows tells the program that some files have changed (upon shell notification).

I must ask how often does the refresh happen and what windows version do you have? This does not happen for me.
