Code snippet to download image file?

Post by Anthony »

Can anyone point me to a code snippet that will download an image file in response to a mouse click?

I know that this can be done by a right-click-save-picure-as, but I need to do it by clicking a button

Any help appreciated

Sorry. . . I suffered an attack of the stupids . .

What I really meant to ask for was a bit of code that would fulfill the same function as the right-click-save-picture-as

I did look (albeit briefly) into possible JavaScript to do what you wanted, but it would only work on certain browsers.
