FireFox 2.0 Gecko Preview support

Post by RayTracy »

Just installed Rapid CSS 2006 and itĀ´s a great program. :-)

I downloaded the Firefox Gecko Preview active-x and install it but when previewing in displays differently from Firefox.

Is this perhaps because Firefox 2.0 and previous versions reads the css differently or what? Or is it something else wrong, besides in my code. ;)

I always test my code against IE and FF, and shure enough this would be a great tool for fast and easy preview to do that, but since the internal FireFox viewer displays differently from how FireFox displays the content it's kind of hard to do that effectively.

Shure, I can click Tools -> Preview In -> Mozilla Firefox, but since there is seemingly no way to assign a key to that there will be alot of unnecessary clicking around in menus. And that's not very rapid. :)

So my feature request is and update to the Active-X plugin for FireFox Gecko Preview so it previews the content the same as in Mozilla FireFox 2.0

By the way, thanks for a great program.

The FF-ActiveX-Control ist based on an older version of gecko rendering engine. I think the developers of mozDev will release a newer version in the next weeks (...look in the cvs...).
