I'm having a problem with page preview in split mode.
My web pages use Google's urchin tracker for analytics, which means that each page has a script section at the bottom which looks like this (except that I've replaced my account with a bunch of x's):
<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">_uacct = "xxxxxxxxxxxx"; urchinTracker();</script>
In split view, when I change the text, I usually don't see the update in the preview pane, even if I press the refresh button. It will eventually update but it takes a while, not quite sure how long, maybe a minute. Sometimes I do see the change without having to wait but usually not.
In split view, I also sometimes notice that the File Explorer Folders pane flashes every three seconds (same as the refresh timer interval).
If I remove the urchinTracker script, then these problems seem to go away -- but I don't want to do that.
The problem only occurs with Internet Explorer preview. Firefox is fine. I have configured IE with the "Every visit to page" option" as described in the FAQ.
Not sure if this is relevant but I'll mention it just in case:
When I first started with HTMLPad, I was getting script error dialogs popping up at what seem to be random intervals, even though "Disable script debugger messages" was checked. I went into the control panel, Internet Options, Advanced, and set "Disable Script Debugging (Other)" (the option above it, for IE, was already checked). This stopped the error messages. The only script in the page is the script code described above and I know the script is correct because it works properly on the web site.
Google Analytics accounts are free if you want to try this yourself.
Any insight would be appreciated.
