HTML Tidy and PHP ASP style tags

Post by lizzy »

I know HTML Tidy is a 3rd party product, BUT is there anyone there who can help me see why my PHP tags are being processed away.

I start with

<fred> and I end up with

<%=$fred%>

I have the tidy.exe that comes with WeBulder 2006.
The only way I can get this stop happening is to set markup int he pretty print to off - but I need it on.

I have read the other posts but also don't understand what is meant by setting up the 'wrong tidy' - I am editing the settings on tools/html tidy/configure tidy/clean html.

Which HTML Tidy Task are you running? Have you tweaked it at all, or is it 'as is' ?
