URGENT please help - popup CSS style box has disappeared

HELP --As far as I'm concerned WB is broken for me. Please someone help.

I did something - no idea what -- but my normal layout (editing area on left and project/folders sidebar on right) reduced itself to one window with no sidebar --

I managed to get that back through layouts, BUT when I was editing -- the CSS properties/selector box that used to pop up when I hit a CR inside the curly braces in a style sheet no longer does.

I'm dead in the water here, and under a deadline --

I checked help, with popup and pop and window and couldn't find anything --
checked setting options and couldn't find it -- only found the delay timer --

THANKS for pulling my feet out of the fire on this one -- hard to look up something when you have no idea what it is called.

try hitting crtl+space when you're in the brackets.

also, please ensure that autocomplete is on at all.

Options>Preferences>Text Editor>Auto Complete and make sure that little box is toggled.

Autocomplete is ON.

In fact, every once in a while I check it just to make sure.

I'm slowing going nuts.! lol

are you working with a separate css file or is it inline in your html header?

is autocomplete working for you in other languages?

Unbelievable. It was some else's file --
contained only CSS, but the file carried a dot htm extension.

wasted about 7 hours on this

but at least I can get the work done.
