Ok, it happened again. I hit ctrl+c to copy some javascript. only once! error came up that said 'cannot open clipboard'. I clicked the clipboard panel and sure enough, this was in there:

Code: Select all

---------------------------
WeBuilder 2006
---------------------------
Cannot open clipboard.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Again, I didn't - for sure - hit copy twice.

I don't know if that helps or hurts ;) but I thought I'd better report it.

Thanks,
Will

If i could throw something in here...

What keyboard are the guys having this error using? I ask because I bought myself a Saitek keyboard (I stupidly thought I was gamer but then came to my senses and got back to being a regular geek!) and I was getting no end of trouble with phantom key presses - i.e. I would copy stuff to the clipboard twice without actually pressing it twice - until I discovered that I needed to disable all the devices related to the keyboard in the 'Human Interface Devices' section in device manager. Apparently this kind of prblem affects quite a few usb keyboards, not just the Saitek ones.

Sorry if I'm just getting it all wrong, but I thought it might help...

Hey, that's interesting. I'm using a "microsoft digital media pro" keyboard.

Hm... I am asking myself this question: Could it be that this happens because for some reason copying happens twice and with a very very small interval, like 0.01 second?

Anyway, I have changed some code in version 2007, let's hope it will fix the problem.
