Exporting *all* preferences ?

Post by Silk »

Is there a way to export projects, FTP connections, SQL DB, etc ?
edit: I'm using RapidPHP 2006

I'm planning to upgrade my demo version but I don't want to loose all my settings ...
And it would be useful for sharing projects too.

Damn, I must have been blind, the answer was in the post just under mine.

So, regedit is the key :

FTP : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Karlis Blumentals\Common\FtpExt\6.0\Connections

SQL : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Karlis Blumentals\Common\SqlExplorer\Connections

Now I'll have to find where Projects are stored.

Hi Silk,

The projects (and other settings) are stored in:
C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Application Data\Blumentals\

Copy this folder and all sub-folders.
As well as the regkeys for FTP you found, remember to do Option -> Export Settings to export common settings than can be easily imported.

Cheers
Mike
