Webuilder purchase

Post by petew »

Hi
I guess it is not worth purchasing Webuilder 2006 at the moment as Webuilder 2007 release is in the pipeline.

Does anyone know when the next version is due for release. I do not expect an exact date but this quarter, next quarter, this month, next month would be a great help. I really dont fancy paying for the full version and then paying the upgrade price within a couple of months.

Regards
Pete

Karlis is excellent when it comes to updates. If you do purchase now and an update appears 'in a couple of months', then I'm sure he'll offer you a discount on the upgrade price.

Unsure on a timeline - and even Karlis wouldn't be able to nail it down to a particular month - but as an alpha version has hit the streets, it can't be that long away.

Many thanks for the reply guys. Have just purchased Webuilder. The trial convinced me that the program was worth purchasing and with the assurance from Karlis it makes it a no brainer.

Best Regards

thanks petew for the info,

yeah I bought webuilder a few minutes ago and it seems work fine under vista - now I can work imedatly and wait for the free update for the brand new 2007 with great features (Cse-validadot integration. cse-validator in my opinion is more powerful that the free tidy)

ps: forgot to say that there was even a free gifanimator bundled with the download

Does anyone have any information about WeBuilder 2007? Some basic shots would be fine but I'd be interested in seeing a feature highlight list or something. :)

Ah, excellent. Better save this for my Vista partition though so I don't wreck my existing installations.

actually - you can run both 2007 and 2006 at the same time without them interfering with each other...

I tried installing both and noticed that 2007 was using the 2006 templates directory and various other small issues.

Yes, there are some tiny issues, but there should not be any major conflicts, so you are safe to try. We hope to release beta soon.
