Hello,
when I write a html-file and go in the preview-mode, above the preview-window there are 5 buttons:
refresh preview
show rulers
internet explorer preview
firefox gecko preview
close preview
Clicking internet explorer preview causes an error message "Unable to create Mozilla Browser object ...."
Isnt this a bug - as far as I know this controll should only be need for the firefox???
Regards
Gorky
a bug in webuilder or in my head?

Have to say that I am now not sure what is happening here.
I have uninstalled the mozilla activex control and although the preview is working fine as the following script indicates;
<script>
<document>
</script>
preview result;
You are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 3.0.04506)
When I click the IE preview button I get the message as indicated by Gorky. Installing the Mozilla ActiveX control allows the IE button to work and gives the identical output listed above. Conversely if I click the firefox button the script returns;
You are using Netscape 5.0 (Windows; en-US) Ā©
I only have IE7 and Opera installed on this system.
Seems that the Mozzilla ActiveX enables the button for IE but does not really do a lot else if you are only using IE.
Does any of that make sense. Not sure I am trusting my own sanity now, or maybe its just the weekend alcohol!
All the best
pete
oops..here is the contents of the document container above, sorry about that should have formatted it better for the forum;
document.write "You are using "+navigator.appName+" "+navigator.appVersion;

The confusion is arising from what happens when you push the buttons.
The Explorer button is initially selected (pushed in) and as such, should look like this:
Image no longer available
If you press the IE button (already pressed in) it will actually 'unselect' it, and select the Firefox button instead - think of it like a toggle. In fact, think of the IE and Firefox buttons as just one button - it just toggles and swops between the two.

If you do not have a need to switch between IE and FireFox preview, then do not touch IE button to avoid the useless error screen. Why click it if the preview is visible already?
Yes, this is a bug, instead of error message, nothing should happen if you click IE button. Thanks for reminding this, I almost forgot to fix this
