Color Problem

Post by x77x »

The image looks fine in the Edit pane but in Preview pane some colors (I think just black) are missing. Using 4.1

I don't remember having this problem when I tested version 3.

Looks like a transparency issue. Without looking at the 'source' images, and your project settings though...

If you download the .gif and open it with Easy GIF Animator, you can see that the edit versions of the individual frames don't match the Preview pane.

I've tried some different Transparency options, but to no avail. This isn't the only .gif I'm have this issue with. Do you need the individual frames before they are put into Easy GIF Animator.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I've got the solution. For some reason transparency is on, but you can paint transparent areas black to correct everything.

1) Select a frame
2) Select Color-replacer tool
3) Set Replace to transparent and With to Black
4) Set some big brush, e.g. 20px
5) Paint transparent areas of your image with our mouse
6) Repeat this with every frame...
