Sirs
I want to open a remote file, so I set up a new connection, press connect but while browsing I don't see anything on remote server.
If I try to connect to it with a real ftp client like CuteFTP as well as a FireFtp (Firefox extension) I'm able to browse the content without matters.
I tried to setup the passive mode (that generally is used) but this doesn't affect the results, and also set up the passive mode, close the WeBuilder and reopened it (still possible that those changes doesn't affect result until reopening), but always unable to browse the content.
Any known issue?
Andrea

I also have the reported problem with 'Open from FTP' command.
I tested the command using the same connection that work fine with the command 'Publish Project to FTP', so I know that connection and remote directory is certanly correct.
Trying to open files via 'Open from FTP' command, the connection work fine but appear to not consider remote directory so I see no files or other thing on the remore site.
Using the 'Quick Connect' mode, typing the same FTP address parameters, the result is the same.
Important: all above test are made with a FTP site accessing with username a password (of course correct!), not anonymous login.
A further test done accessing the following file with anonymous acces work fine. Following are the field of the connection form I used:
host: ftp.rz.uni-wuerzburg.de
user:
password:
[X] Anonymous long
Initial Dir: /pub/linux/knoppix/
all work fine: I opened some files correctly

No, in my case, everything goes fine when I use the FTP sidebar. Only if I use the functions "Open from FTP" or "Save from FTP" the choosen directories aren't listed.Karlis wrote:Does this happen if you use the FTP sidebar (File Explorer)? I think I know where the problem is... we shall update soon.
