suppose you have just opened a tag ... an anchor for instance ... I find intrusive to automatically close it just after press <a ... but it will be very useful go at the end of the word you want to out into the anchor, and just pressing ctrl + space see a list of the all unclosed tag that are previous the caret.
It would be nice also the closest previous one to keep programming more easier.
