Animated Text Positioning

Hi,
I am trying to add animated text to an image and place it using the 'Custom position' option. I am able to enter any value in the X axis, but in the Y axis, when I add a value greater than 100, the position is shown in the preview but the value resets to 100 when clicking betweeen 'Custon apper-Effect' and 'Custom hide-Effect', or when trying to render the animation. This obviously means I am unable to place the text in the correct position. Is there a solution to this or is it a software bug?
Any thoughts much appreciated....
