Saved files history lost when opening new file

Post by jerm »

Now that Rapid PHP (version 8) saves not only the history of currently open files when closing the program, but also the bookmarks and page positions, continuity of work spread across two or more days is greatly facilitated.

However, there is an annoying problem. After closing Rapid PHP for the day, or before opening it the next day, if I double click on a file that is associated with Rapid PHP, all of the page history is lost. Is there a setting to remedy this, or can it be fixed in an update please?

I am afraid I can not repeat the behavior. Here is what I did:

Closed Rapid PHP
Double-clicked associated file
The file is open and the Reopen list is still OK.

I guess I need more help...

Hello Karlis,

Thanks for the reply.

That's essentially what I do, but in my case only the associated file appears in Rapid PHP and all the others are lost. That's about all that I can tell you except that I have another problem with associated files in that their icons are the standard Windows generic file icon and not the Rapid PHP icon even though the file association exists. Could that be related?

in your registry, do you have any files listed here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Karlis Blumentals\WeBuilder\7.0\MRU\Files

that's where all my history files are at.

If it's empty, could it be some sort of permissions issue? No idea... sorry.
