Hide Tabs - Design View - Preview in Firefox or Explorer

Post by diezdedos »

Hi, I like to ask for 3 features that form me will be very important.
I am consider change from DW CS3 to WeBuilder, but I find a few things that are missing.

1_ Hide/Un-Hide the tab bar that content the tabs Preview, Horizontal Split ......

2_ Design View, like DW, it is very important to me. I think is very useful because if you click over a element in this view this action highlight the code related to this object and vise versa.

3_ The preview that is wilt in the software actually is very good, but I will like the way to open a preview directly in Firefox or explorer

Tks

Hi,

For number 3, you can preview in any browser you like. Just go to Tools>Preview In> and select your browser. I dunno if it's the default but I use f12 for preview in FF and ctrl+f12 to preview in IE.

To add additional browsers to the list, go to Options>configure browsers

For number 2, although this is not available right now, you can to some extent use the Firefox plugin called Firebug. Install it, click inspect and it will show you where in the code the selected element is.

1 and 2 have been requested before so I would assume they are on the ever growing feature request list. thing must be 50megs by now we're such a greedy needy bunch. :)

Welcome to the forum.
