I am evaluating Webuilder for use developing perl, javascript, and HTML. I can't get the mapping to work right to run "*.pl" pages.
My setup is this (on windows vista):
web root: c:/web/public_html
localhost: http://localhost/ (apache server from LAMP);
The file I'm editing is ptest.pl
If I type http://localhost/cgi-bin/ptest.pl into the browser's location bar, the script runs and displays the page.
However, the following mapping does not work under preview (the browser fires up but displays nothing except "loading ...")
c:/web/public_html/ = http://localhost/
c:/web/public_html/cgi-bin/ = http://localhost/cgi-bin/
I hope I can get this working, because Webuilder this looks like a very good editor.
