The Preview function doesn't work properly in WeBuilder 8.1.0.78 with Safari 3.0.3.
Safari ends up loading the homepage as if launched normally.

- Check the Support section of the corresponding product first. Chances are you will find your answer there;
- Do not create new topics for already reported problems. Add your comments to the existing topics instead;
- Create separate topic for each problem request. Do NOT post a number of non-related problem reports in a single topic;
- Give your topic a meaningful title. Titles such as "A question," "Bug report" and "Help!" provide others no clue what your message is about;
- Include the version number of the software you are using;

I understand. What I'm saying is that when Safari is launched externally, it launches as if there were never any command-line parameters passed to it. Safari launches and displays the default homepage, not the page being "preview in." I hope this make sense.Karlis wrote:Please note that there is no built-in preview in any other browsers than in IE and Firefox. It may be a problem with Safari, though, seeing how it is in beta...

Just a thought, but does the URL get passed in quotes, or just a URL? Also, if its a file URL, it might have spaces in (c:\documents and settings\user\desktop\my files\etc...etc...) so do they get 'translated' to %20's?
It would be simple to test with a shortcut to Safari with the URL passed to it as a parameter.
