Several problems after installing full version of WeBuilder

Hi,

Using WeBuilder 8.2.0.79 german version

After installing the full version over the trial version (same version number), I have several issues:

1) The help menu does not work. Normal help (F1): nothing happens. HTML and CSS reference: "folder does not exist"

2) All new windows have titles like "%d Ersetzungen wurden gemacht.1"

3) PHP debug: (c:\php521xd). Just run a simple phpInfo() raises error box "Debugger eroor [Code:5] Command is not available", but I can see the result output, which looks OK.

BTW: is it possible to get an english version?

that helped a bit, but it was not mentioned anywhere.
Other software gives a warning or offers to uninstall the other version first...

The PHP problem and the question for an english version are still not solved.

pretty sure it is mention in the installer or on Blumentals website, what is your php problem? you can't preview php in webuilder?

The "Debug error code 5" is related to problem in XAMP debug engine.
To work around it we need to change our software and that is not a trivial task, so a completely re-worked debugging engine with many other features should be available in early 2008.

Got the same problems with my full (german) version here.
Also many of the german messages are simply wrong:

e.g. Try to click on "ĆberprĆ¼fen auf neue Version" (Check for new version) - the message is a popup saying: Vorschau-Zuordnungen

Maybe Karlis should ask some native german speakers for help. (I'd offer some translation-help).

The problem is in the setup. When you install full German version, you must completely uninstall / remove trial version first. You must not install over the trial.

Try this:
1) Completly remove whatever version you have
2) Make sure all old files are deleted
3) Re-install full version from the [German] full version link

OK, thanks, I can wait for the PHP debugger fix, the problem is not very urgent in my case.

English version: I had two different download links in my license e-mail (without any hint on the language), which both gave a german version 8.2.0.79.

Today I made 2 new downloads from the same links, which gave me identical english versions 8.3.0.80

So the "problem" is solved, but it's very confusing.

This is our fault.

The full german links are not yet published, you have to inquire our support about them.

I hope to get things right in the nearest future.
