Enhanced Find / Find & Replace 2

Post by overnoise »

Hi!
Great software...and here in the forum you can almost smell that pretty opensource breeze.. :)
I've just passed to rapid php from ultraedit software and there's just one thing I'd like to have here in rapid php.
Simply when I select a text i want to search next & previous by clicking F3 AND I'd like to fix in the options that I want (or not) to restart search from the top of the document!
Thw wrap at end checkbox doesn't really works for me...and i have to reactivate it everytime!
My way of programming is kinda based on fast search so... :)

Thank you for your suggestion!
We shall gather all suggestions regarding this improvement and then see what can be done to improve the search as much as we can.

What about having a Firefox-style quick-search? Just a little bar that appears at the bottom that searches as you type...

One thing that I really like that Firefox has but WeBuilder does not is the ability to highlight all instances of what has been searched.

The highlight feature is on our to-do list with a ? mark.
Not sure about the "find bar", though. I really like the Firefox find toolbar myself, but we need to be sure the interface does not get too bloated... Guess I need to persuade Karlis about this ;)
