Can't get vertical line on spanish keyboard

Post by ecovia »

I have a spanish keyboard and eachtime I press CTRL+ALT+1, which is the Vertical line (|) absolutely necessary for PHP and Javascript I get the insert of the IF Statement. That's a real hassle, that shortcut doesn't exist in the list.
Any idea to work around?
version is 8.31

I have Spanish keyboard myself. I did what you mentioned and get the same as you. My question is where do you get Ctrl-Alt-1 means vertical bar?

I tried in word, notepad, wordpad and ultraedit and the behavior is not the one you mention.

This shortcut is assigned to the code snippet of PHP ("if").
You can remove the shortcut under PHP => Edit PHP Snippets. Select snippet "if" and change the assigned shortcut to something else.

Thanks for this answer Gatis.

So I like to have all those "hidden" shortcuts in a list as we have the Keyboard shorcuts. This would be nice.
