What about a Visual Studio-like Inspector?

Currently:

Visual Studio-like (where category names are clearly distinct):

Components exist for Delphi/C++Builder, as well

Ya I think I would have to agree with you on this one, the inspector right now is somewhat awkward to use, if it was fixed up to look something like the way visual studios has implanted it that would definitely make things much more productive.

Clarification

So, am I correct in thinking that what you're saying is that you'd like the category headings to be more distinctive?

So rather than using bold to distinguish the category headers (e.g. Aural, Borders, Colors and Backgrounds, etc.) from sub-elements you'd find it easier to use if these also had a background colour which would create more of a visual distinction between one category and the next?

Yes, it can be considered as, it can appeal to the eyes but mainly, the idea is: "Presenting functionality at a higher level".

And also, at the end, providing better and simpler GUI will increase productivity.
