hi i am hosting my web site with www.freevirtualservers.com and so i would like to enable the preview feature on Rapid PHP 2006. I have successfully enabled ftp features on rapid php but when i enter my ftp address into the mapping options it will not work. This could be to do with the fact that the web server URL is wrong i have a domain name registered with it but when i try that it still doesnt work. Please could someone help??
Hi duncan,
I think you put the http path to your server rather than the ftp path for the mapping.
But I've got mine setup for all local servers here at work, not sure how it works with remote servers.
For example:
I have my O: in Windows Explorer drive mapped to the server where the files are, and in WeBuilder preview mappings have-
Filesystem Path = O:
Web server path = http://intranet.ourcompany.com
