WebSite screenshot taker

Post by peep »

I haven't come over a nice handy application to get multiple website screenshots, maybe to point to specific URLs.

It may be handy for website programmers to easily update references pictures.

Should be configurable:

+ format
+ size
+ compression
+ destination folder

If you're using Firefox to browse, check that great tool "Screengrab!". It's a free extension for Firefox and can be downloaded here:

I Agree.
Screen grab is awesome and as it is a plugin for Firefox, you can get it on Mac, Windows and Linux.
Through this plugin, I take a snapshot of pretty much any site that I come accross that I think is inspirational. When I have a design block, I go through my screendumps.
Very cool indeed.

Cheers

The question is - whether there is enough demand for such tool.

Not as a separate program I don't think so.
As an extension to a web browser, yes, and there are several available for Firefox.
Why would you want to launch an external program to take a screenshot of a webpage you're viewing in your browser.

The one I have installed in Firefox is called Abduction.
