Unspecified Error

Post by Ajm »

Hi,

I am new to WeBuilder and have just installed the Mozilla Control 1.7.12 as directed but when I try to preview using the firefox icon I get an Unspecified Error message. Has anyone else had this issue ?

I am running XP PRO SP2 fully updated, and the latest version of WeBuilder.

Regards

I've installed this on several PCs and not had this error.
When you downloaded the ActiveX setup, where did you install it? I presume you went through the install process, and that worked OK?
When you click the Firefox button, does the error appear immediately? Is there any disk thrashing going on just before this error?
Do you know if there are any errors in the event viewer? (Read more...)

Hi,

I have installed it on d:\Mozilla ActiveX Control v1.7.12 and the installation went fine.

I have checked the event logs and nothing appears to show any problems.

Any other ideas.

Regards

Try removing it and installing in the default location... maybe that would help?
