Today I went to print a block of code in my html file. I clicked File > Print. Next I selected "Selection" and clicked "OK".
The entire document printed out instead of the block of text I highlighted.
Note, "Print Preview" does correctly only show the selected text.
Anyone else notice this?

How low a priority is this issue, Karlis? I would like to use the print selection for a variety of reasons (save paper, compare code examples for syntax and other issues, comparison with example code away from the computer, bringing just enough to others without revealing a lot of my code, etc) but it currently requires copying and pasting into another program.
Maybe you can suggestion a good program that will retain the format of the code type, like one of your competitors possibly?
This coupled with the constant forced opening in full screen is enough of an irritation that I now understand why fellow programmers do not like any of your editors for major corporate work. It is a childish display not letting the user choose the size and placement of involved multi-file projects each time it needs to be reopened. I just worked on a project that required five files open at the same time and I used your Tools/Load a list of files but they all open full screen losing the sizing and placement on the screen that I previously had set for them.
Please reconsider these two issues before you have another person responding to fellow programmers at meetings and seminars that they don't like features of what is in general a good multi-language editor.
By the way I purposely added my response to this thread to point out the LONG time frame for at least one of these issues.

I believe this printing problem is going to be corrected in the next update. Nobody else, but you has ver reported this in the past 18 or so months, so it was put off all the time.

I just tried it with the 2010 version but it is still the same - printing the whole file when I only asked for a selection.
I also just tried to only print 'pages 1 to 1' to get a single page and it still printed all pages.
As previously mentioned, 'print preview' shows the correct selection or single pages but even from the 'preint preview' screen, it still prints the whole file.
Appreciate it if this could be fixed.
