i Net seems to block MS Active Synch to usb PDA
Since installing inet protector one of our staff members cannot synch his PDA with MS activesynch. What do we have to do to enable activesysnch ? As the PDA link is via a USB cable possibly using TCP/IP could iNet Protector be blocking the sysnch?

Hello!
iNet Protector could affect the synchronization only if it is done via TCP/IP and uses a connection to non-local address, because localhost or 127.0.0.1 are allowed by default. And as I have found out it does use TCP/IP.
This address contains info on what programs and TCP/IP ports must be put in the allowed list to allow ActiveSync:
