speech recognition and Rapid PHP

Post by martimiz »

Hi all,
I'm using Rapid PHP v8.1 and I have to rely heavily on speech recognition software (Dragon naturally speaking 9). Although this is definitely not the fastest way, it is working. I have one major problem though: there seems to be no way to switch between the active windows other then by mouseclick (or I can't find it).

I would for instance need a keyboard shortcut to make the library window or the File Explorer active, so that I can then browse through it by way of the arrow keys: I can quite easily simulate keyboard entries by voice commands...

Is there any way this might be possible?

thanks in advance

At the present time it is not possible. Why do you have to use speech recognition? If this is due to some disability, please contact our support and describe the way you work, probably it can help us learn more and make our product more friendly. Otherwise I'd suggest to try to use pointing device.

Yes, I'm using speech recognition software because of arthitis, even though this is a slow process, when you're a programmer :( So rapid php is already a great help with it's snippets, auto completion and shortcuts. but thanks, I'll contact support
