Post by maravizzo »

Hi,

I would find usefull to add the attribute rel="nofollow" to the A tag.
Most search engine are following this attribute.

Is it in W3 spec? In any case if you need ti in the auto complete, you can add it manually by editing the html definition files.

there are no attribute values in the spec for 'rel', it's up to the author. rel="nofollow" and rel="tag" are just two very common ones.

Microformats are gaining in popularity and are being run fairly strictly - that is, adding support for microformats into a development tool should be fairly safe. There are some big brains behind it including Tantek Celik and the fellow that created Java. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft (among many many others) are on board with a good few of them.

I'm a big supporter of microformats in general. That said, I wouldn't add it to autocomplete because it's not in the spec. Perhaps as a module of some sort the author could turn on and off. I mean, I'd love love to see microformats support in webuilder but I would hate to see one off bits of microformats inserted into the program. Full support of specific microformats or no support would be my preference.

2 cents,
will
